For fuel card programs

Rank prospects by the miles they actually run.

Fuel volume follows trucks and miles, and both are on the record. Filter every US carrier and private fleet by power units, drivers and reported annual mileage, then reach the new ones before a competitor card is in the cab.

What you get

Sort the list by likely volume.

Nothing here estimates a fuel spend, because that would be a number we invented. What it does is give you the two inputs that drive it, so your own model can do the work.

01
Reported annual miles

Five bands from under one hundred thousand to over five million, taken from the carrier's own MCS 150 filing.

02
Power units and drivers

Filter on trucks and on drivers separately, because a fleet with more drivers than trucks is running them harder.

03
Operating footprint

The states a fleet is actually inspected in, which separates a regional operation from a national one without asking anyone.

04
New carriers first

A carrier registered this week has no card yet. The latest batch view is only the registrations from the most recent discovery run.

05
Private fleets

Fleets hauling their own freight are identified rather than mixed in. They are often larger, longer lived and higher volume than the carriers beside them.

06
Direct contact

Owner or officer name with phone and email, plus named company officials where the fleet is large enough to have them.

Targeting

Two filters get you from two million to a call list.

Mileage band and fleet size do most of the work. Add the states your network covers and you have a list your team can work every morning without rebuilding it.

  • Annual mileage and fleet size stacked together
  • State, plus interstate or intrastate operation
  • Equipment type where your network favours particular freight
  • Save the view, alert on it, and export it to your dialer

Timing

The first card is the one that stays.

Fuel card decisions are made early and revisited rarely. New registrations reach the feed the day they appear, and carriers with authority still pending can be tracked so the call lands the week they start running.

  • Same day new registrations, twice daily refresh
  • Pending authority tracked until it activates
  • Freshness windows of today, seven days, thirty days or a range
  • Worked leads hidden so the team never doubles up

How teams work it

How a fuel card team runs it.

  1. 1
    Set the volume floor

A mileage band and a fleet size band that match the smallest account worth onboarding.

  2. 2
    Split by territory

Add the state filter to match your network coverage and your rep patches.

  3. 3
    Call and log

Unlock, reach the owner, and record the outcome and the follow up on the lead.

  4. 4
    Catch the new ones daily

Alerts on the saved view bring new matching registrations to you every morning.

Questions

Answered up front.

Can you tell me a carrier's fuel spend?
No. There is no public source for it and we will not model a number and present it as a fact. What we give you are power units, drivers, reported annual mileage and the states a fleet actually operates in, which are the inputs your own sizing already uses.
Can you tell me which card a fleet uses?
No. That is not in any public record. The advantage here is reaching carriers early, when there is no incumbent card to displace.
How reliable is the mileage figure?
It is what the carrier reported to the FMCSA on its MCS 150, which is filed periodically rather than continuously. Treat it as a band rather than a precise number, which is why it is offered as five bands rather than a free numeric field.
Are private fleets worth targeting?
For fuel they often are. Private fleets run their own freight, tend to be larger and longer lived, and are identified separately in the database rather than mixed in with for hire carriers.
Can I export the list?
Yes, to Excel or CSV with twenty nine columns including owner, phone, email, address, power units, drivers and authority status. The export matches the view on screen exactly.
What this does not do

Truckscribe does not estimate fuel spend and does not know which card a fleet carries today. Neither is in public records, and a modelled spend figure would look like data while being a guess. What you get are trucks, drivers, reported miles and operating footprint, which are the real inputs to your own sizing.

Truckscribe is built on FMCSA public records and other commercial business sources. It is business information for sales and vendor decisions, not a consumer report. How we handle data

Reach the fleet before the first fill.

Every plan includes the full database, TruCRM, monitoring and export. Tiers differ on seats and daily unlocks.
